Salmon Teriyaki


Why we don’t prepare salmon in teriyaki sauce this time. Even the smell of cooking will go all around. During the meal, guests will be even more impressed by the excellent taste.

Salmon Teriyaki

Salmon Teriyaki ingredients for 4 people

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • 4 sprigs of parsley

Marinade

  • 2 dl of dark soy sauce
  • 1 dl of rice wine (sake)
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 5 tablespoons of roasted Sesame seeds

Salmon Teriyaki preparation

Well wash and dry salmon fillets. In a large bowl pour soy sauce and rice wine and add sugar and sesame seeds.  Stir well all together. Place the salmon fillets into the marinade and mix well that salmon will be well-soaked in marinade. Cover the bowl and place in refrigerator overnight.

The next day, remove salmon from marinade and blot it gently. Put the larger pan on the cooker and heat it well. Pour sesame oil, and quickly spread it upon the surface (we must be careful not to fry!) Place salmon fillets in the pan and bake in a moderate temperature for 3 to 4 minutes on each side.

Arrange the fried fillets on serving plates. Boil the remaining marinade in a saucepan and pour over salmon fillets. Next you can serve freshly cooked rice and vegetables. Wash the parsley, remove leaves and use it for decoration.
