Ingredients for salmon fish sticks

  • 800 g salmon fillets, boneless and skinless
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 8 tablespoons flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 7 tablespoons bread crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 30 g butter

Salmon fish sticks preparation

Cut lemon in half and squeeze lemon juice. Thoroughly wash salmon fillets and dry with paper kitchen towels. Cut them on narrow width into sticks and dressed them with lemon juice and salt.

In a deep plate with a wire whisk two eggs and add 4 tablespoons of water. In second dish pour flour and in a third dish put bread crumbs. First roll salmon sticks good in flour, then dip them in beaten egg and finally roll in the breadcrumbs.

Put on the stove deeper pan, in which dissolve 30 g of butter. In a well heated fat fry about 1/3 of fish sticks. On both sides bake them for about 6 minutes or until they get golden brown color. Repeat the same procedure twice to bake all the fish sticks.

Place fish sticks on a paper to drain well. Put them on a plate and serve.

Additional tips how to prepare salmon fish sticks

Fry in a large quantity of fat. Food must swim in it. For frying use fats, which do not contain water such as coconut oil or fat. Fat for frying is sufficiently heated, when around a wooden cooking ladle shows fine bubbles.
