Potato pancakes with salmon and caviar – ingredients for 4 people

  • 450 g potatoes
  • 125 g smoked salmon
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tablespoons of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons of sunflower oil
  • 0.5 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 pinch of ground pepper
  • 0.5 cans of red caviar
  • 0.5 bouquet of chives
  • 1 cup of sour cream

Potato pancakes with salmon and caviar preparation

Cut smoked salmon into four pieces. Peel potatoes and grate it good. Then rinse it under cold running water, drain well and blot with paper towel. Wash chives, dry and finely chop. Clean onions and finely chop. Kill eggs in a bowl and gently mash.

Pour grated potatoes in a large bowl and add the onion, flour and eggs and season to taste with pepper and salt. Mix well all together. Put on electric oven bigger frying pan and heat in one tablespoon of oil. From the 4 tablespoons of mass make a pile in the pan. Mound with the back of spoon shaped into a circle.

Sour cream in a bowl, mix with 3 / 4 of chives (save some chives for dry shake). Put potato pancakes on a plate and each piece fold with smoked salmon. Place a teaspoon of sour cream and caviar on salmon and sprinkle it all with chopped chives. Serve prepared meal to guests.
